The Youth Media Center (Centrul Media pentru Tineri) is offering an exciting opportunity for young people passionate about media, journalism, and storytelling. The organization is currently seeking interns to join its dynamic team and participate in a hands-on internship program focused on developing essential media skills.
The internship targets young individuals eager to create informative video content that reflects local realities and speaks directly to regional audiences. Through this program, participants will gain practical experience in video production, media literacy, and storytelling. Interns will be involved in all stages of content creation — from developing concepts and writing scripts to filming, editing, and publishing final projects.
This initiative is part of the Youth Media Center’s broader mission to empower youth, encourage civic engagement, and improve the quality of regional media through authentic, youth-driven narratives. Participants will have the chance to work on meaningful projects, collaborate with experienced media professionals, and learn how to produce compelling stories that amplify community voices.
Interns selected for the program will:
The program is open to students and recent graduates in journalism, communications, film, or related fields, as well as to young individuals passionate about storytelling and media creation. Prior experience in video production is an advantage but not mandatory — the most important qualities are motivation, creativity, and a strong commitment to learning.
By the end of the internship, participants will not only have improved their technical skills but also gained a deeper understanding of the powerful role media plays in shaping communities and supporting positive change. Outstanding interns may even have opportunities for longer-term collaboration with the Youth Media Center.

Through this program, the Youth Media Center continues to invest in building a new generation of skilled, ethical media creators — offering young people not just technical training, but also a platform to make their voices heard.
