On 26 May 2026, members of the Independent Countering Disinformation Centre (ICDC) participated online in a new ICDC Discussion Club session dedicated to the organisation’s priorities for the coming period.
The event provided a space to present the main findings of consultations held with member organisations and to discuss ICDC’s future development directions. Participants addressed the needs expressed by members, including access to funding opportunities, strengthening organisational capacity, peer exchange, and closer cooperation among organisations working to counter disinformation.
ICDC Executive Director, Stela Leucă, presented the organisation’s vision for the coming period, focused on supporting members by facilitating access to resources, expertise, and development opportunities. The discussions highlighted the importance of a collaborative model tailored to the needs of member organisations and aimed at strengthening joint efforts to increase society’s resilience to disinformation.
The ICDC Discussion Club serves as a platform for dialogue, consultation, and experience-sharing among members, contributing to a better-connected and more effective community committed to promoting the integrity of the information space.
